Question: How much do the TimberTiny units cost to build?
Answer: Please take a look at the “Shop” section of out web page, you will see there that we give an estimate of what we believe a reasonable contractor may quote to build the unit.
Question: What about approved plans?
Answer: TimberTiny units are fully compliant with the National Building Regulations Act of 1977. – You will see in the “shop” section what we will charge you to prepare the plans that can be used to get approval from your Municipality.
Question: Can I get approval anywhere in South Africa for a TimberTiny unit?
Answer: There may be zoning conditions or Homeowners Association guidelines that stand in your way. Talk to us. We will have a look and let you know very quickly?
Question: Can I a get a bond for a TinyTimber home?
Answer: Yes you can. (and we have done it to prove it!!!) Banks offer bonds for Timber homes (as long as they are properly compliant and engineered: the way TimberTiny units are). The first thing they will ask for though is an approved plan, so you’ve come to the right place.
