There are many possible futures facing the world in which we live. The future we at TimberTiny would like to see is Timber and is Tiny.

Why Timber?
Timber is warm, its comfortable, it is great to touch and pleasing to the eye. But at the same time it saves the planet by capturing carbon and by avoiding the vast amount of greenhouse gasses released into the atmosphere every year globally from the heat intensive manufacture of steel, concrete and bricks.

Why Tiny?
We consume way too much. Our footprint is far too big. Plain and simple!
Not only is this damaging the planet, but our expansive, expensive homes are making us miserable, making us broke and robbing us of our leisure time.
Labour can be Leisure
Perhaps the trick in life is not to avoid work in order to make time for leisure, but rather to find that kind of work that you really enjoy doing.
Structural Engineer
The proper design of any building is a dance between a the Architect and Structural Engineer. Fundamental to the success of this dance is a mutual respect between these two players. Both must know what the others strength is and where they must be clear where they are to lead.
